- [Irene] Hello there and welcome to the PointSense Pro for AutoCAD training. Laser scanning's fast becoming the tool of choice for capturing as-built conditions in our job sites. This technology brings the site conditions directly into our desktop environment, allowing us to use our current CAD software to model on top of the point cloud. In this course, we will learn some of the basic features of FARO PointSense Pro. I'll start by showing you how to bring your register scans into ReCap, VirtuSurv, and AutoCAD. Then I'll show you how to use PointSense, and AutoCAD to create line work in models from a point cloud. We will also take one step further by using our analysis tools to look for deviations and see how well our solids fit to the point cloud. We'll be covering all of these features plus plenty others to point you in the right direction. Yes, I know, bad jokes. Let's go!
