Inserting the ReCap file

- [Instructor] If you want to attach a point cloud into AutoCAD, you must use a ReCap file. Now, the ReCap file is a file that stores millions of points captured from a laser scanner, and it organizes them in a way that makes it much quicker to navigate through AutoCAD, allowing us to visualize, measure, and build on the points inside most Autodesk platforms fairly easily. We'll load a ReCap file. We've included one with the exercise files. So, let's take a look at how that works. We're going to come up into our Point Clouds panel on the ribbon menu, and we're going to insert. Now, we're going to navigate back out to our Desktop, Exercise Files, Recap, and you should see a Piping Project ReCap file. Now, if you want to be able to compile the ReCap file, there's tutorials that do that, too. We're not going to cover that, we're going to just use the ReCap file that we have and import that into our project. Now, what we're going to do is we're going to look at the scaling. Now, it's…
