Fit Polygon
- [Narrator] Tracing polygon shapes in the point cloud is simple using the fit polygon tool. Point size analyzes the points closest to the object that you pick. So, we're going to create poly line. It's going to analyze the points around that poly line and then adjust the poly line to fit. Now, I already have a slice of points created in here. So, we're just going to turn off all points, and we're going to set our UCS to the slice. We're going to come up to digitizing tools. I'm going to set UCS from slice and then we're going to come down to our modeling tab here and we're going to choose fit polygon. It's going to ask to switch us into the correct view. We can say yes, and now we can take a look at the points that we want to fit the line work to. So, I'm going to start by just picking a point. The first point of the approximation.
