Fit Cylinder
- [Instructor] Fitting Cylinder works very similar to fitting a plane, obviously, it's in a cylindrical shape though rather than a flat surface. So we're going to work this very similar fashion so let's get started and let's look at fitting some cylinders to the point cloud. So let's look at our point cloud and we're going to zoom in to this area here and there's this cylindrical filter here. So you can see that shape there. We're going to try and fit that cylinder and maybe we'll try and do some pipes as well. So I'm going to go in to my top view, I'm going to zoom in, I'm going to use my clipping tools to try and isolate that cylinder. So I'm going to come up to my clipping tools and we're going to use Define circular shell. So I only want to fit the actual cylinder, not the flanges or anything else that's in the internals, so I'm just going to pick my two points outside the shell and fit that best I can and then I'm going to just bring that inside too and clip out all that junk in…
