- [Instructor] Fitting a cone's another modeling tool that can help us model in a plant environment. It simplifies the creation of equipment such as hoppers, tanks, filters, lightings and many other items that we may want to incorporate into our models. It works just like the others, so let's just take a shot. Now, let's look for something conical in our point cloud. Now, I know that there's a bunch of lights underneath this pipe rack here. So what I'm going to do, is I'm going to just Define a Clipping Polygon that should have all those light fixtures. And let's see if we've got some good fixtures in here. If we turn this around, we can see the, yeah, the light fixtures are just hanging down in here. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to line them up and I'm going to Define a Clipping Polygon again. And I'm just going to clip these lights. And there we go. We have some good points that we can use here. So I'm going to just clean 'em up again. I'm going to just clean the tops…
