- [Instructor] Here we go on with chapter eight and we're going to look at some structural steel. So, Points Size has a structural steel module that uses pattern recognition algorithms to fit the steel beams to the point cloud. It works in a similar manner to piping, but with some key differences. In this video, we'll took a look at the steel commands in the ribbon menu and go over some of the functions that we'll be talking about during this chapter. So let's go ahead and open our exercise file. So we're going to open the desk top, exercise file, and chapter 8_01. Now, if we look at our pipes and beams panel in our ribbon menu, the commands we're going to be looking at are all sitting in this section right here. So we're going to look at items such as fit beam. This is where we go to actually initiate the algorithm to fit the beam to the point cloud. We're going to do some edits to beams.
