- This video only applies to those who are using the AutoCAD Plant 3D software. If you're only using AutoCAD for your pipe modeling, you can just skip this video and go on to the next one. For those of you using Plant 3D, let's open up our software. So, let's go to our exercise files. We're going to open the project from the current project. You're going to open Desktop, Exercise Files, PointSense Plant, and our Project.xml. So, let's navigate to our Plant 3D drawings and open Chapter 07_08. There, everything we've modeled to this point has been done just using basic AutoCAD. If you're using the Plant 3D software, we can take this process one step further by exporting the PointSense model to an intelligent Plant 3D piping model and generating as-builts, Isometrics, complete with bill of materials, elevations, cutlists, and weldlists. So, let's go ahead and close my Project Manager, just to give us little bit more space here. And, I'm going to turn off the point cloud. And we're back…
