Copy and postpone fitting

- [Instructor] One of the most convenient features of PointSense Steel is that once you fit a beam to a point cloud, it's easy to copy that beam to another location without having to spend time fitting each beam individually. Since the steel structures are often designed in repetitive patterns, you can simply fit a beam and then copy it roughly to the location of the point cloud to be fit at a later time. So let's model more of our steel frame and see how we can use the copy and postpone fitting. So we're going to navigate to our Exercise Files, Desktop, Exercise Files, Chapter 08_03. So here we have our steel fitted on our point cloud here. So what we can do is look at two features we have. We can turn on our postpone fitting, and what that basically means is we can determine what the type of beam we're going to be using and then tell it what beams it applies to, but not go through the whole fitting process individually, and we'll do them all at one time at the very end.
