- [Instructor] If you're tracing linework in the point cloud, you'll see that when picking points you can quite easily choose points with different set elevations. Now, we have a flattening tool in PointSense that allows you to pick your lines in the point cloud and then flatten everything to a specific elevation or one that you can choose from the drawing, or just an elevation of zero to produce a true 2D flat drawing. Now, I've gone ahead and created a slice through the point cloud here, so what we're going to do is use our Fit Outline plan to generate some line work here. So I come to our Modeling tab, I'm going to use Fit Outline Plan, we're going to run this on our UCS, and I'm just going to very quickly create some linework here. And we're going to close that. So here we have our slice. Now you'll notice it's sitting right in the middle of the points that we have here, and if we look at that line and look at the properties, you'll see that we're sitting at an elevation of 28.6…
