Fit Polygon
- [Instructor] Tracing polygon shapes in the point cloud is simple using the Fit Polygon tool. PointSense analyzes the points that you pick and creates the line work based on the center of the points around the line work that you're tracing. Now I've changed the points on this to white, or to the object color, just so that we have a little bit more clarity, and I've gone ahead and created a section here, so what we can use is Fit Polygon, or it'll work with Current right now, too. So, if we try to analyze the points here, I'm going to come up to my modeling tab, and I'm going to use the Fit Polygon option. Now all we do is we're going to start tracing some line work in the point cloud, now, I'm going to try and not necessarily be particularly careful with my clicks here. Just going to pick some points around this feature here. I'm going to try and go outside the lines a little bit as well, so that you can get an idea of how the fitting works.
