Fit Outline Plan
- [Instructor] Creating outlines for planned sections and layouts is pretty straightforward using PointSense. We have a tool called fit outline plan and that allows us to fit line work to a point cloud slice rather than tracing the points. This makes it much easier to develop good line work without getting lost in the coordinates. Now I've already gone ahead and created a slice through the point cloud and I've called that floor plan. So we can actually just activate the floor plan slice and just make a few quick changes. I'm going to come to section manager. I'm going to change the transparency. I want to turn the transparency on. I'm going to change the point size to one and I'm going to pick on the point cloud to activate the AutoCAD point cloud menu and I'm going to come up to our scan colors and turn that to object color, just so it's a little bit easier for us to see. Now I'm going to go back to tracing out just a line using regular AutoCAD to show you how this can be a problem…
