Fit Cone
- Fitting a cone is another of the modeling tools that really helps us model in a building environment. It simplifies the creation of conical shapes like turrets, filters, or if you were doing ducting for MEP applications, it'll work the same there. It's just like any other shape that we've learned so far. So let's give the cone a shot. Now I tell ya', it took a little bit of doing to try and find a conical shape inside this data set. But I found a very small plant pot. And we're going to use that just to illustrate the conical fitting tools that we have. So let's turn off all points. And you see here we have our very small little plant pot. It does have curve side, but it will illustrate the same purpose. And we're still going to be able to fit a cone to this. Very straightforward. We're going to come to our modeling tab. And we're going to just fit the basic cone, so the frustum of a circular cone.
