Dimensioning
- [Instructor] Dimensioning is straightforward enough using PointSense Building. Let's take a look at a little house model and we'll place some basic dimensions on the floor plan using points picked from VirtuSurv. We'll also do some point placement using scan navigation mode and we'll just pick some directly from the point cloud. So here we have our room. Now, once you've got this linework into AutoCAD, you can always just go ahead and use regular AutoCAD to do your dimensioning. But we have a couple tools that we have in PointSense Building. So we're going to go back to my PointSense Building tab and we'll just take a quick look at those. So I'm going to turn my points back on here and I'm going to turn my building around here and I want to be able to see the points on the floor. So I'm going to come to my dimensioning. If I want to take a look at the room height, I can come down and look at the room height here. Now, I can pick this using points from the point cloud or I can use…
