- [Instructor] Another great tool for creating drawings from the Point Cloud, is the AutoCAD XL feature, where we create infinite lines placed on points we pick from the Point Cloud using VirtuSurv. We use the Fit Plane feature, then the Align UCS to Plane, and then we Implement the XL Macros. Let's see how these all work together to create some elevations. So we're going to isolate the front of the building, so let's come and create the section through here. So I just want to see the front of the building. And if we turn it around we can see that there's our building facade. So I'm going to take Transparency off for this. And so now what we want to do is we want to Fit a Plane. We want to be able to create 2D line works flat up against the surface of that building. So what we're going to do is come to our Modeling Tab. We're going to Fit the Plane. We're just going to use a One-click Option, so just grab a series of points. Down here is fine. Make the circle about that big, and…
