Set the point cloud parameters

- [Instructor] Now it's time to look at our point cloud parameters. These settings determine the way the algorithms fit the geometry to the point cloud. Now, the point size fitting algorithms are not available in point sense basic, but I thought we'd touch on this for those of you that will be going on to use more advanced versions of the software. We're going to come up to the point cloud's panel in our basic menu, and we're going to look at our set point cloud parameters. And what you see here is basic out of the box, but we're going to make a few adjustments. We found that the optimum settings for this are going to be point two five point two five. And down here for the point cloud density, 40's fine. So, basically, what we're looking at here is we're determining some of the distances between the points in order to use our fitting algorithms. So all we need to know for this right now is the easy way to remember is quarter, quarter, 40. So that's all the fours, set that up, okay, and we're ready to go.
