What you should know before watching this course

- The idea in this course is to reverse engineer the N-TRIG commercial done by Studio ST/AF from Tel Aviv. My goal here is that we will try to understand not only the practical steps, but especially the creative process. During the upcoming lessons, I'll show you how to decode a client brief, and how to turn it into a 3D ride movie. This is not a regular step-by-step training but more of a behind the scenes style, which should give you an exceptional opportunity to learn how to create complex motion graphics which integrate 2D and 3D elements. Now I'm assuming that you possess some knowledge of Adobe After Effects. So I'm not going to linger on basic operations, but concentrate more on the advanced techniques. Since this project rely on third party plug-ins such as Trapcode Particular, Trapcode Form, and Rowbyte Plexus, I've included short introduction movies for each. These movies are not full courses, but they should be enough to get you started or at least understand how those tools were used in this commercial. Now, one more thing, since this is a commercial project the project files are not included with this training, but this shouldn't matter at all because the idea here, is to share a way of thinking, some conceptual design, and of course the techniques themselves. And for those tasks there is no need to use any specific materials. Now my goal here is that you will be able to create something exciting which is inspired by what you have learned in this course. Before we will start I just want to thank Adam Feinberg the Creative Director and owner of ST/AF, for sharing this project with us. Some of the creative solutions you will see in this course, were considered his best kept secret in the industry and now you'll know them too. So I think we are ready to peek behind the scenes of this high-level production and learn how this piece was made especially at the post-production stage.
