Working with the mobile Planner app

- [Instructor] While on a train, plane, sitting in the coffee shop, or elsewhere, you may need to jot down a task, add a comment, mark a task as complete. With the mobile Planner app, you can do all of this from about anywhere you are. After downloading the free app and signing into the application, it's going to look like this on an Apple iPad. The default view is the Planner Hub. This is where you can see all of the plans that you are a member or owner of. If you'd like to retrieve one of these plans and take a look at it, select it from the list. Let's go ahead and select the Catering Team plan. With the plan in view, you'll see all of the buckets in the order they would appear in the online application, as well as the associated tasks. To get back to that Planner Hub view, select the arrow in the upper left corner. If you would like to filter out all of the tasks except for the ones that are assigned to you, to the left of Planner Hub at the bottom of the app, select My Tasks. This shows you a progress view of what hasn't been started, what's in progress, and what's completed. Let's go ahead and tap Planner Hub at the bottom of the app. In the upper right corner is a way for you to create a new plan by selecting the plus sign. Go ahead and give that plan a name. Let's call this Group Fitness Classes. Decide if you'd like the privacy to be public or private by tapping on Public next to Privacy. We'll go ahead and leave that as public. A description by tapping in the Description area is optional. Let's go ahead and leave that blank and select the arrow in the upper left corner. Once ready, select Create to create the new plan. Let's go ahead and skip adding members for now by selecting Skip in upper right corner, and that's how you can work with the mobile app while on the go.
