Field Reports can be quickly filled out in the field on a construction project using an Andriod phone and the PlanGrid Android app. In this video, Jim demonstrates the process of accessing and completing Field Reports on an Android phone and discusses the process of saving them as a draft that can be edited throughout the day or finalizing and submitting them once they are complete and ready for review.
- [Instructor] Using the web app to create…and even fill out these daily reports and forms is nice,…but I need to be able to do that…while I walk around the job site.…So let's take a look at the PlanGrid Android app…here on my phone…because that's what I know I'm always going to have with me…when I'm out walking the site.…We'll just tap to open the PlanGrid app.…From my list of projects,…I'm going to select our sample project…that we've been working on,…Managing Construction Activities.…I'm going to tap once…and that brings me immediately to the sheets view…where I have all of the blueprints for my project.…
Down on the lower part of the screen towards the right side,…I'm going to tap the clipboard icon to bring up the forms…and here you'll see the templates that we've been working on…and a couple of the templates…that we created earlier in the course.…Let's just look at how a few of these are completed.…So we'll take the sample report job hazard analysis…that was setup by PlanGrid when we established the project.…
