Select and modify a tool

- Now that you have some of the essentials down for opening and saving files, let's work with a more complex file. In this case, a layered document stored in the native Pixelmator format. What I have here is the ability to easily modify things. For example, turning a layer on or off, the ability to change things or work with them as a group. Now I'm currently working full screen. You have a couple of ways of doing this. The quasi-full screen method, where we've just dragged this to fill in the space. I can also do that by option clicking on the Expand button or clicking on that button to go to true full screen. It's up to you. Let's get rid of some of these other windows for just a second so that we have no other distractions besides Tools. You'll note that the Tools Palette shows you several different tools. It's pretty useful because it allows you to choose a tool by simply clicking on it. For example, the Selection Tool there. You see that I get my object here, making it easy to…
