- Let's walk through this design process from beginning to end. It may not be a perfect match for the sample image that I showed you, but I'll walk you through some of the logical steps that I make, and give you some ideas on how to organize your layers, and really get a good design file. Let's start by closing this file, and I'm going to delete this version, there's no need to save it. And let's simply choose File, Open. Choose the file labeled Working with Layers Start .tiff This is a flattened file, and the original source image developed using Apple Photos. Alright, what I'd like to do here is crop this. Let's make it full screen so it's a little easier to see. The crop tool can be easily selected by pressing the letter C for crop. I'll close the Layers panel for now. Up top here, from Constraint, you can actually adjust the shape here, so its constrained to a particular size. For example, if you wanted to make a poster, you can type that in, 20 by 30, or square, or enter a custom…
