Add and edit text
- Unlike a traditional photography editing tool, like photos for OS X, or Aperture, you gonna find extensive text tools inside of Pixelmator. This allows you to use text as a vector element, and then apply styles to it, or other enhancements. And this is pretty cool. Additionally, you can rasterize it, use filters on text, or create really interesting multi-layer text-based affects. Let's go ahead and open up a source image. We'll close this previous design. And I'll choose file, open. Go to the folder, working with text, and open up the tiff file. Let's invoke that full screen. Now, what I'd like to do, is add some information to this file. It's pretty simple. I could press T, for the text tool. And when you click, a new layer will be added automatically. That work's well. Let's choose undo for a second. You'll also note with the text tool, that you can click and drag, to define where that text is going to go. Now, once you've added that text, you'll notice that you have a option…
