- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to teach you how to create a volume using the volumes tool. This process is very fast and will provide you the data you need quickly. So let's look over here to the volumes. Now note before you use this tool, the processing option of DSM, right here, needs to have been done and complete because it actually calculates volumes off of the digital surface model. So going over here to volumes, I'll go ahead and minimize this down here, you'll see this new kind of window shows up where you have objects and also down here layers so we can keep this open to see what happens. When I create a new volume, I just click this button and that's that and down here you'll see that volume appears. Now to put the volume down on the ground all I'm going to do is select an object that I want the volume of or the cubic volume of this. So I'm going to go ahead and click around the object with my left mouse and then to finish that operation I'm going to right click…
