- [Instructor] Manually masking or deleting areas of the point cloud before creating your mesh can be a great way to ensure a clean data product. In this video, I'm going to introduce you to this tool called Annotation, and what you can do is just select an image that you want to annotate, and when they say annotation, typically that means you're going to be writing something, but in this case it's actually using a paintbrush tool. That's what annotation means in Pix4D. So if I select just some random image, maybe I can even select them here, and it'll show up over here on the right. So I've selected them on the left or in the graphic itself, and then over here on the right, it shows up. So I'll click this little pencil tool and it's going to do this thing down here at the bottom called Creating Segmented Image, and that takes a minute or so, maybe just a few seconds depending.
