Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you've undoubtedly heard of Pinterest; however, you might not know exactly what it is or what it does. So, what is Pinterest? Well, basically Pinterest is a social networking website that allows you to organize and share ideas through something called virtual pinboarding. Think that it this way: you're browsing a magazine and you see an awesome photo of a castle in Europe and it just so happens that you're going to Europe on your vacation next year; you might want to rip that page out of the magazine and stick it on your wall to remember the castle or you may even want to take the article with you on the trip.
Pinterest allows you to do this, but in a digital way. When you find something interesting on the web, you can pin it using Pinterest and then organize your thoughts into individual pinboards based on categories that you select. People are using Pinterest for all kinds of interesting things, like planning weddings, decorating their homes, and even sharing their favorite recipes. The possibilities literally are endless.
