The CMYK color space includes four channels: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and the key color, Black, each of which corresponds to a process-color ink, as well as a lithographic plate. CMYK is designed exclusively for commercial reproduction, not for local home or office printing to an inkjet or laser printer. CMYK is not an ideal masking space, but it works better if you choose Edit > Color Settings and set CMYK to Coated Fogra39 (ISO 12647).
