The experience of photographing Mt. Seymour

- [Instructor] My favorite place to photograph winter landscapes is Mount Seymour Provincial Park, which is in Vancouver, British Columbia. I live in Seattle, so it's a very easy trip for me to do, so I'm looking for fresh snow, and relatively good weather and then I can just drive up and hike and it's a, it's a really beautiful place and I'd like to share some images. Now the first thing I want to mention before I show the first, is that it's a snowshoe. It's about a two mile snowshoe. And one of the things you have to be really careful of in the winter environment, is you do not want to sweat too much because that sweat will then freeze against your skin and can cause real problems. So as I'm hiking, I might have just a thin layer and maybe one layer on over that. And as soon as I stop, I've got my big down jacket attached to my pack, I take it off and I put it on. So make sure, and work on regulating your body temperature, not too much sweat because you don't want to get up there…
