Wrapping up

- Working with any type of light source takes practice. The more you experiment and shoot in a particular lighting situation, the more you're just going to come to understand it. And it's not a procedural understanding, it's developing an eye for it. And back lighting is the same way. If you experiment a lot with back lighting, as you're out in the world, you're going to start to learn on your own to recognize, that could be a great shot, if it were lit from behind. Maybe I just need to wait. Or maybe I need to be a hundred feet in that direction. Your eye will change, your photographic eye will change, as you work with this type of light more. So, the best thing you can do right now, is get your camera, wait a little bit later in the day, go out, and start shooting into the sun.
