Working with curve points

There are several shortcuts for working with points on a Curve graph when you're using the adjustment layer version or the dialog version, either one is fine. Let's begin by getting a Curves adjustment layer started here. I'll go ahead and click on Curves from the Adjustment Layer panel and I'm going to get my Targeted Adjustment tool by clicking on that icon in the Adjustment panel here for Curves. I want to set a point for -- let's say the shadow behind her nose here, to left of her nose. So I'm just going to click there. I'm going to set a point for the highlight spot on her cheek here. Again I'll just click and then maybe in the blue or the shade of the eye or the hotspot here, I'm just looking for another point right about there, where it's little bit brighter spot in the image.
