- Aesthetically, working indoors with artificial lights and back light is no different than outdoors with a back light inside and well even if it's an artificial light I'm still gonna get the same cool halos and possible drama and that kinda thing. So my mindset is when my eyes are working the same way, the difference is I just gotta figure out how to get lights in the right place to get the effect that I want. I'm in complete control of the light, which is different that working with window back light or working outside. So I got Brett here, and I'm gonna shoot a back light portrait of him. And I'm gonna-- I'm just worrying about a couple of strobes, so Brett give me a minute while I get all this stuff turned on. I've put a strobe back here. I've got a wireless connection to it. This is a Canon strobe, and I've got just Canon's own transmitter on here so I can control all of this wirelessly, which is much easier than having cables around, but there's nothing wrong with having cables…
