- [Narrator] Now we'll take a look at the next three options in the basic panel, which are texture, clarity and de-haze. This time around I'm going to select this elephant here and I'm going to Ctrl + click on the highlights and shadows and then I'll press Ctrl + R or Command + R on the Mac, in order to open Camera Raw inside Bridge and I'm going to scroll down here so that we can see all three of these options. Now texture and clarity and to a certain extent de-haze, are designed to work on edges inside of an image. Which are areas of luminance transition. So for example, the difference between this big bright rock face and the shaded side. Now texture is what we'll se in a moment affects what's known as medium-frequency transistions, whereas clarity hits low frequency. And so notice if I crank this value down to -100 we get this thing occurring inside the image, as if we're coating it with vaseline. Whereas, if I crank the…
