- For this course, you should have a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. If you're new to Photoshop, you should be able to pick things up pretty quickly. But being famliar with the essential features and functionality of the program, especially techniques for making selections and working with layers, will help you get more out of this course. It's also helpful to have access to Bridge and/or Lightroom. But if you don't, we've shown you a workflow where you can use just Photoshop, instead. If you need to brush up on Photoshop, there are many helpful courses by a variety of authors, including Julieanne Kost, Chris Orwig, and Deke McClelland.
