In this next course, we are going to focus on hair, by way of portraiture photography. We will touch upon key aspects of retouching portraits with an emphasis on training your mind to begin seeing a direction before you make your first clone stamp move. To get the most out of this course, you should already have a reasonable knowledge of Photoshop's functionalities. If you need a refresher, there are some great courses on lynda.com to bring you up to speed on tool basics. Before we begin, let's go over some of the technical aspects of your setup and use of tools. I am more of the artist than the technician, to my frustration at times. When I can't make something happen right away, or make something happen in a less time consuming way. Most of my work is done with a few tools. There are so many ways to do the same thing in Photoshop. Finding your own way through trial and error pays off after awhile.
