What you should know before watching this course

- In this course I'm going to assume that you already have a basic working knowledge of Photoshop. If you're choosing to edit video in Photoshop, it's because Photoshop is where you feel comfortable. It's the tool that you have and the one that you know. Now, by no means do you need to be a complete Photoshop expert, but you should be comfortable opening files and making basic adjustments to them. In this course I'm going to assume that you're using a current version of Photoshop. If you're using a non Creative Cloud version of Photoshop, be sure to check out the online library where you'll find other versions of this course for older versions of Photoshop, before Creative Cloud. Now, in this class, make sure that you keep your application up-to-date, and pay attention to key things like preferences, as well as things like video card drivers. Editing video on a computer can be very processor intensive, so you're going to want to keep your hardware up-to-date with things like, the latest drivers for your graphics card, as well as making sure that you have enough system performance.
