- [Instructor] This course builds upon the skill set developed in Photoshop CC Essential Training Basics. If you've already completed that course or are already familiar with the basics, then you're in exactly the right place. If you're unaware of the basics course, want to brush up on the skill, or just need a refresher, please don't hesitate to watch those videos first. I developed this course with photographers in mind. However, there are many different ways to use the same tools in Photoshop. And you may find creative inspiration, enhance your skill set through watching both this course, as well as my Photoshop CC Essential Training For Design.
Throughout this course, I rearrange my panels to simplify the workspace so that we can focus on the tools that are being covered. If you don't know how to customize your workspace be sure to watch the Photoshop Interface and Documents and Navigation chapters in my Photoshop CC Essential Training Basics course. In addition, I typically work in full screen mode with menu bar instead of the standard screen mode to make the most of my screen real estate. To follow along, once a document is open in Photoshop choose the View menu.
Then choose Screen mode and Full Screen mode with menu bar. You can also tap the F key to toggle through the different screen modes. If you're working with photographs you might want to check out my course Adobe Camera Raw Essential Training to learn how to tone and adjust your images before taking them into Photoshop.
