Welcome

(rain falling) (acoustic guitar music) - [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Justin Reznick, and welcome to Olympic National Park in Washington state. In this course, we're gonna explore three very distinct regions within the park. We're gonna start in the Sol Duc Valley, a beautiful forest with incredible creeks and an iconic waterfall. Now, the forest is extremely challenging, and we want to use a variety of lenses to approach it in a different way. We're gonna use a wide angle lens, a telephoto lens, and a macro lens to see what stories we can tell in the forest of Sol Duc Valley. Then we get to go to Second Beach, one of the most beautiful and famous beaches in all of North America. There, we're gonna be using a wide angle lens to really emphasize a foreground-background relationship, finding different foregrounds to make incredible images on the coast. Then we head to the Hoh Rain Forest, where we're gonna learn how to shoot in the rain. Very important skill here in the Pacific Northwest. We're also gonna introduce one more lens, the tilt-shift, and why it's my favorite lens to use in the forest. And, finally, we're gonna post-process. I'm gonna be able to show you the images not only in the field that we took but how they're gonna be processed and presented in the end. If you're excited to see Olympic National Park, come join me as I photograph one of the most epic locations I have ever been to.
