Find out how to use Photoshop to remove color cast and enhance the brightness and contrast of a dark image.
- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Taz Tally and welcome to Photoshop Color Correction: Dark Color Cast. This is a mini project course, where we will be making color adjustments to a dark imagine with a significant color cast. In this course, we'll apply image evaluation and color correction and, or creative adjustment tools and techniques we covered in the Photoshop Color Correction Fundamentals course. First, using histograms, I'll show you how to evaluate the characteristics of a dark, color casted color image. Then, we'll discuss how to determine if your image has a color cast and whether or not you want to retain or remove that color cast.
Next, using histograms and a curved adjustment layer, I'll show you how to remove the color cast and improve the overall brightness and contrast of a dark, color casted image. Finally, I will demonstrate how to further fine tune the overall brightness and contrast of this image after you have affected the color cast removal. Now, let's get started with Photoshop Color Correction: Dark Color Cast.
