(elegant music) - [Timothy] Hey there, welcome to Retouching Skin. There are so many different factors involved with retouching skin Retaining the natural texture while still meeting your client's high standards is key for a successful image. In this course we will look at a variety of skin textures and discuss how they are affected by light. I'll take you step by step through different techniques, creating a game plan that outlines the treatments given to beauty as well as the more artistic editorial images.
We will use an assortment of tools such as the clone stamp and patch tool. I will show you how through color correcting and using a few different tools together, you can avoid an over re-touched look. There are those images that just don't have enough of a texture to start with. We will look in to a few different scenarios of generating a believable texture. The main aspect of this course is to teach you how to effectively control the texture of the skin by breaking down the process into simple steps that won't overwhelm you.
