- Hello, this is Deke McClelland. Welcome to Photoshop CC One-on-One Mastery. The final installment in a series of three video courses devoted to your absolute command of the world's most powerful image editing software. As you know by now, the one-on-one promise, is to turn you into the best Photoshop user you know. And there's only one way to do that. By rolling up your sleeves, and creating compelling projects for yourself. Which is why I'm happy to report, I have lots of projects ready and waiting for your attention. For those of you interested in creative smart filtering, I'll show you how to render type out of smoke, create a realistic pointillism effect, revolve a city scape around a tiny planet, and fragment a photo through ribbed glass. If you're interested in masking, I'll show you how to extract an image from a white or black background, select a person captured against a green screen, and mask that trickiest of details, wispy voluminous untamed hair. In later chapters, you'll learn how to trace smooth details with the Pen tool, stitch multiple photographs into a single seamless ultra high resolution panorama. And even edit videos, that you capture with your smartphone or DSLR, all with absolutely professional results. And lest I leave anything out, I'll show you how to work with layer comps, art boards, the Libraries panel, batch processing, and all those other things that you knew were really important, but have so far eluded your understanding. The result is a contextualized learning program. Photoshop's features make sense, because you apply them to a clearly defined task. If I've done my job, you'll leave each chapter with a sense of real, satisfying, tangible accomplishment. Learn how to do this, and you'll be able to do so much more. Now as you know, Photoshop CC is a fluid application, that may update to any extent, at any time. The same goes for this course. What you're about to watch is altogether new.
