Using variables with templates

- [Instructor] Although variables have been in Photoshop for many releases, only a small number of people know of its immense power for tasks, such as automating event photography, or any project where you want to automate the substitution of images and text in a document. So here I have a template document, as well as a text file and some photographs, and they're all in the same folder, and that's very important. I'm going to use the template image as the base canvas, and then I'm going to use the text file and variables in Photoshop in order to swap out, not only text, but also these photos to create new documents. If I double-click on the text file, I just want to point out that there's actually two columns. There's a photo column and a title column. You'll notice that photo and title are lowercase, and there is a tab between these two columns. Then I have the name of all of the different images that I'm going to…
