Using a sunlight filter in post-processing - Photoshop Tutorial

Using a sunlight filter in post-processing
- In this movie I'm going to share another very powerful filter found in Color Efex Pro 4 which works fantastic for images in the Palouse. Here we have another image from Steptoe Butte, and this is really looking into the sun. What we have is incredible light hitting the tops of these hills. It's a really, really great image with potential. Right now, it's still flat. So the first thing we're going to do after we've brought it in from Lightroom to Photoshop is our curves layer, and we're going to see some dramatic options here. Four. Interesting, option four, I like the light in it, but I actually like option two better. But then it kind of diffuses my sunlight too much. What I'm going to do is show you a trick here. We're going to go with option two, and bring it into Color Efex Pro 4. Once in Color Efex Pro 4, we're going to apply our Palouse filter. Alright, let's scroll down to Palouse. Let's do a before and after, kind of see how that worked. Oh, really nice. Warmed it up…
