Join Chris Orwig for an in-depth discussion in this video Using multiple adjustment to improve light and color, part of Photoshop for Photographers: Lighting Effects.
…Now that we've been introduced to how we can use Photoshop adjustments in order…to improve the quantity and quality of the light in our photographs, I want to…take things a little bit further and here talk about how we can combine…multiple adjustments together in order to improve…the light and the color in our photographs.…We'll be working with this picture here, my…daughter Sophie with one of her best friends Zoe.…You know, so often what happens to us as photographers…is we capture a moment, we open up an image and we're so…excited about that moment that we can forget to think about the larger scene.…
And in the larger scene here, one of the things that…I notice is that this image lacks a little bit of contrast.…It also needs a little bit of help with some brightness and some color.…So let's begin to make a few adjustments to this photograph.…Here to do that, we'll work with adjustment layers, and the…first adjustment layer that we're going to create is a curves adjustment layer.…So go ahead and click on the Curves icon.…
