Using the more precise Zoom tool
- [Instructor] All right now I'll show you how to zoom with the more accurate zoom tool, which comes with its own shortcuts. And the reason we need a tool is because we need to be able to tell Photoshop exactly where we want to zoom. Notice if I press Control + Plus or Command + Plus on the Mac a few times to zoom in past 100%, I am zooming in on the model's nose, because that happens to be the center of this particular image. But let's say I want to zoom in on her eye or some other detail instead. Then I would press Control + 0 or Command + 0 on the Mac to fit the image on screen. Then I might press Control + minus or Command + minus on the Mac to get to the more accurate 25% zoom ratio. And then, just to restore the original version of the image, I'll go up to the file menu and choose the revert command. Now, in any other piece of software I would've gotten a warning telling me that I'm about to revert the image,…
