Using masks and color fills to alter color evenly
What I would like to do now is to change the color of this hair, without altering the contrasts and without increasing it's saturation. So what we're going to do to alter the color of this hair is to use color fills. So let's go down to our layer here and let's zoom in, and using our brush and clicking option, we're just going to sample an area in here. That we'd like. So just this pink right here. And you can see that that becomes our foreground color right now. Let's zoom out. And let's create a new layer set right here. And let's label that Color Fill. Now, inside that Color Fill layer set, we're going to click on this little half moon right here. Hit this solid color there, and hit OK. And now, we are going to play with the different layer modes to see how this blends in. These colors right down here usually lend themselves really well to this kind of color tweaks. So let's start with hue. Now let's turn hue on and off. And it got a little bit yellow, so let's actually…
