- [Narrator] Here we are. I did my homework, and now I have a whole bunch of masked layers in my Masks folder. You can see them. So I have basically masked out all elements of the little creature that are separate shape or that might have a separate color in the final illustration, and I also took the effort to name them all properly, or almost all. Who are you? Oh, the teeth. Alright, now the teeth are also named properly. Oh, and another one escaped me, the tail. Yes, now I did my homework. Alright, so we see that everything is masked out, even the things in the background, the grass, the earth, stones, trees, bushes, and I've also separated elements that might need the separation for later steps. For example, I have the arms and the fingers in separate layers, because there is going to be some shading on the fingers, which is way more easier to paint when we have separate selections of these small elements.
