Using the exercise files

- If your membership includes it, you'll find a collection of exercise files. These are photos and videos that I've chosen to help you really bring the techniques to life. Now I do ask that you only use these exercise files for hands on learning. Please don't post your results, or use these in any of your own projects down the road. What I've pulled together are some of my own personal files and some work for clients. Plus we have a few pieces that have been donated by other artists that you could explore. The goal here is that you get hands on and learn. These techniques are best experienced by doing. I do want to emphasize that early on you may not get exact results that you want. This is an art form that takes a bit of practice, but by using the same files or re-watching a movie, you'll be able to refine the technique. I'm going to move through things at a medium pace. Now if you are a newer user you might want to watch a movie again, or you could pause the movie and practice a little bit and then resume watching. If you're a more experienced user, try to stay in there and watch all the details because there's a lot of subtleties to getting things right. Alright, if you haven't done so, pull down those files. If you have your own camera, why don't you bring that along as well, so you can experience some of the camera menu options that you're going to need to change, and let's get started by exploring the world of cinemagraphs and photographs.
