Join Deke McClelland for an in-depth discussion in this video Using adjustment layers, part of Learning Photoshop: Photography.
…In this movie, we're going to replay those exact same brightness, contrast…and color adjustments that we applied in the previous two movies.…But instead of going up to the Image…menu, choosing Adjustments, and then applying a Static command.…We're going to use Dynamic Adjustment layers.…Which give you a lot more flexibility, because…you can change your settings any time you like.…And here's how they work.…We'll start off by making sure that the…Adjustments and Layers panels are available to us onscreen.…
And you can get to those panels by…choosing both Adjustments and Layers from the Window menu.…Now there's a couple of different ways to get to color adjustments.…You can either click on one of these icons…here inside the Adjustments panel, that's probably the easiest…way to work but that means that you have to recognize these icons.…You can see if you hover over one of them.…It tells you what it is so this very first one is brightness contrast.…And they're listed in the same order that they appear in that adjustment submenu.…
