Using Tilt-Shift Blur on a portrait (CC 2014)
When it comes to capturing photographs, there are different cameras and lenses which we can use, which will allow us to create different effects. Like there's one lens which is called a tilt shift lens. This allows us, as the name applies, to tilt or shift the focus so that you can have a slice of your image in focus and the rest of it blurry. You know, we can do something similar in Photoshop using the tilt shift blur, which we'll look at in this movie. In this project, let's begin by converting this background layer to a smart object layer. We'll do that by navigating to the filter pull down menu and here choose Convert for Smart Filters.his will open up a dialog which says it will convert this layer into smart object, click OK to do that, and we want to do that so that we can have control and continually edit the filter that we'll be applying. Here we'll go back to the Filter pull down menu, and then select from the Blur Gallery the filter we want to apply, in our case its called…
