Using the Oil Paint filter

- [Instructor] The Oil Paint filter is a great place to start if you want to quickly turn your photograph into a painting. I'll select Filter and Convert For Smart Filters so we can apply this as a non destructive filter, and then choose Filter and then Stylize, and then Oil Paint. I'll make sure that the preview is enabled and move this out of the way. I can then use command plus in order to zoom in in the canvas area and then hold down the space bar in order to reposition it so I can see the sunflower. So the Stylization option, if I move this down over to the left, then my strokes of paint are going to be very short. If I move it over to the right, they're going to be a lot looser and a lot longer. The Cleanliness, if I move that to the left, that's kind of the detailed or the texture area. When it's to the left it's a lot looser and when I move it to the right, it's going to be a lot smoother. The scale is the size of…
