- [Instructor] The info panel is another useful tool for evaluating images. If you don't have your info panel open, you'll find it under the window menu. As I move my cursor around the image, we see the numbers on the info panel, the RGB numbers and the CMYK numbers, changing, reflecting the color beneath my cursor. So the info panel would display two different color modes. In my case, the first is actual color, which in the case of this image is RGB, and the second is CMYK, so I can get an idea, looking at the numbers, how my RGB levels will be translated to CMYK percentages if I make a mode conversion. Using the info panel, we can take up to four color sample points. And we can have these be fixed. We can do this with the color sampler tool, or with the eye dropper tool in combination with the shift key.
