- [Instructor] Some night images may have a hazy quality to them that can be caused by a variety of factors including smog, smoke, mist, fog, or even traces of water vapor in the air. These atmospheric conditions can both obscure and reflect some of the ambient light from the scene, creating a lack of clarity in the photo. The dehaze slider in Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom is a very useful adjustment that can be used to reduce atmospheric haze that can be an issue in some night images, particularly those shot near the water. Let's check it out. So here in Adobe Bridge I already have the dresden02 thumbnail selected, and I'm going to hold down the command key on Mac or the control key on Windows, and click on the harbor.dng file and the san_francisco.dng file to add those to the selection. Then I'll use the shortcut of command R on a Mac or control R on Windows to open them up into Adobe Camera Raw. I'm going to start…
